ayam panggang lemon + garden salad

Resepi ayam panggang lemon


  • PERFECT ROAST CHICKEN (Jamie Oliver recipe)
  • 2 kg higher-welfare chicken
  • 2 medium onions
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 sticks celery
  • 1 bulb garlic
  • olive oil
  • sea salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 small bunch fresh thyme, rosemary, bay or sage, or a mixture
Method
To prepare your chicken
Take your chicken out of the fridge 30 minutes before it goes into the oven. Preheat your oven to 240°C/475°F/gas 9. There's no need to peel the vegetables – just give them a wash and roughly chop them. Break the garlic bulb into cloves, leaving them unpeeled.

Pile all the veg and garlic into the middle of a large roasting tray and drizzle with olive oil. Drizzle the chicken with olive oil and season well with salt and pepper, rubbing it all over the bird. Carefully prick the lemon all over, using the tip of a sharp knife (if you have a microwave, you could pop the lemon in these for 40 seconds at this point as this will really bring out the flavour). Put the lemon inside the chicken's cavity, with the bunch of herbs.

To cook your chicken
Place the chicken on top of the vegetables in the roasting tray and put it into the preheated oven. Turn the heat down immediately to 200°C/400°F/gas 6 and cook the chicken for 1 hour and 20 minutes. If you're doing roast potatoes and veggies, this is the time to crack on with them – get them into the oven for the last 45 minutes of cooking.

Baste the chicken halfway through cooking and if the veg look dry, add a splash of water to the tray to stop them burning. When cooked, take the tray out of the oven and transfer the chicken to a board to rest for 15 minutes or so. Cover it with a layer of tinfoil and a tea towel and put aside. Now is the time to make your gravy.

ayam sekor dalam 1.6 - 2kg
serbuk lada hitam
garam secukup rasa
serbuk mix herb
minyak zaiton
lemon sebijik
bawang besar - hiris bulat 
sebijik lobak merah di potong 2
daun saleri sebatang -dipotong 2 
3 ulas bawang putih pecah-pecahkan


Cara penyediaan:

1. Keluarkan ayam 1/2 jam sebelum panggang dalam suhu bilik
pastikan ayam ditos betul2 kering
2. Sayuran semua hanya perlu dibasuh n dipotong kasar
3. Oven di panaskan ke suhu 240degree
4. Ambil ayam, taburkan garam dengan rata, seterusnya taburkan serbuk lada hitam dgn rata
jgn lupa dlm badan ayam pun taburkan garam dan serbuk lada hitam dan serbuk mix herbs
5. Lemon di potong 2/3 dan sumbatkan kedalam badan ayam. X perlu diperah
5. Sayur-sayuran di letakkan diatas dulang pembakar dan letakkan ayam atas sayuran tersebut dgn memastikan bahagian dada ayam mengadap ke atas
6. Akhir sekali letak sedikit minyak zaiton atas ayam & sayuran
sedia utk dipanggang 



7. Ayam di panggang selama 1jam 20jam dengan kepanasan 200darjah

semasa masak.... tgk2 kejap2 ayam...
kalau sayur nampak dah nak kehitaman...boleh la diletak sedikit je air

selepas 1 jam 30 minit masak!
wallah! terbaik...bau wangi menyengat ok!
sayur yg kat ayam tu mmg xleh mkn la...
sbb dah kehitaman..
fungsi sayur diletak dlm ayam adalah utk mendapatkan aroma pada ayam panggang

lepas potong... masak sepenuhnya n cantik


kami mkn dgn fresh garden salad

Bahan2 Salad:

Salad 
Lada benggala merah, kuning, hijau
lobak merah
tomato ceri
broccoli - dicelur dlm air panas yg diletak sedikit garam
kismis sedikit
sos salad mayonis / tousand island


walla! menu western...
kos dlm RM60 tp leh mkn byk kali..
gi Kenny Roges ni mau kena kat seratus lebih ni...

owh ye...
mesti ada yg tertanya2 kan...
syfiqah, irfan n imran mkn mcm ni jugak ke??
idok le...bebudak tu xjumpa nasi leh pengsan kan...
aku still masak sup ayam utk budak2 tu...
tp diaorg mkn sup n nasi n ayam panggang la...
